Lure me back in with empty promises I know won't last 'I swear I'll never shout again or wake you up at 3am to tell you that I never loved you' and instead of leaving I just asked myself 'why would you?'

But I'm sick of standing on the edge I'm sick of falling but never dead the little part of me that loves myself says 'please get out!' and people ask whats going on but if I tell them somethings wrong it means that first i'm gonna have to admit it to myself

and maybe i'm too tired maybe i'm too broken to even try maybe it's all in my head maybe I remembered it wrong like you said
